Summary: Jack can really end up with only one woman. Liz has a celebrity encounter in the elevator!
"Liz, would you like to be a bridesmaid?" Avery asked.
"Well, um, Jack kind of already asked me to be his best man."
"Did he already plan your tuxedo?" Avery joked.
"Yes, he actually has. No, I'm just kidding."
"Well, we could plan something. While the other bridesmaids are walking, since you're going to be the first one, you could stand on my side. Then, when the wedding starts, you go over to Jack's side. Sound good?"
"Yeah, that's a great idea. Can you believe you're getting married tomorrow?"
"Oh, I know right! This stupid baby made me have to buy my ideal wedding dress 1 size larger."
"Don't call it stupid. I wish I was you right now."
"What, getting married to Jack?"
"No! Having a baby."
"You really want one, don't you?"
Liz nodded.
"Well, I really wasn't going to tell Jack this, but I was really planning to put the baby up for adoption when it was born."
"What are you trying to say?"
"Do you want her, Liz? Do you want the baby?"
"No, it's yours, Avery."
"What about artificial insemination? Jack has some really good sperm."
"Avery! Are you kidding me right now?"
"No! I'm serious! He's your best friend and I'm sure he wouldn't deny if I gave him permission."
"But, that would be...like sharing a guy."
"My baby could have a step-sister or a step-brother. It's like he's married to two women. Isn't that what he's always wanted?"
"Well, yeah, but--"
"No buts. Go do him, for all I care. That's why, when I work, he could spend time with you."
"But, I'm not gonna be married to him, right?"
"No. He's just gonna be spending time with your family, which is probably you, him and your baby."
"Are you that confident that I'm gonna be pregnant?"
"One hundred percent. Now, get out of that dressing room and show me your bridesmaid dress."
Liz got out of the dressing room.
"Great."
"I have one more question, though."
"What?"
"What should I call you when you're married to Jack?"
"Avery, still."
"Okay, well I gotta go. Make the purchase on my card. I have to meet with Jack for the bachelor party."
"Oh my gosh, is it eight o' clock already?"
"No, no. It's only three. I have to plan the whole thing."
"Tell him I said 'hi!'."
"Will do!"
When Liz got to Jack's house, Jack was sitting on the couch, watching tv.
"Hey, Jack."
"Lemon, I've never seen you like that before."
"Like what?"
"Like your hair's really straight, it's got a dash of red in it, and the makeup really accents your face."
"And...?"
"You look stunning. How was it with Avery?"
"Thanks! But Avery got the right dress and she got my bridesmaid dress too."
They stayed silent for about a minute, until Liz spoke.
"She wants you to sperm me."
"What?"
"She wants me to be pregnant as well, since she has little to no friends, so she wants you to do me. Call her for proof."
Jack did call Avery.
"Hello?"
"It's Jack."
"Oh, hi."
"Are you serious?"
Avery sighed.
"Look, she wants to get pregnant. And it's perfect to you that you're gonna be with two women at the same time."
"Why me?"
"Because she's gonna have a beautiful child if you're the father. And then our daughter could have a step sibling."
"So, you're approving?"
"I already took all your condoms away."
"Agh, damn you, Avery Jessup!"
"Bye."
Jack sat back down to where Liz was.
"There's no bachelor party."
"What?! But I already planned the whole executive theme."
"Who's all gonna be in it?"
"Anyone you want it to be."
"Just you and me, right?"
"You'll just have to wait. You can just wear your executive clothes, and I'll find something to wear."
"Where's it gonna be at?"
"Waldorf Astoria. Most expensive room, 30B."
"Alright, see you then."
Jack gave Liz his gold card.
Liz left Jack's house and quickly went to buy the most expensive, elegant and sexy dress she could find. She went to buy some "sexy underthings," as she liked to call it. She went and bought makeup and stilettos. And, for Jack's sake, she waxed.
It was 7:30. She had everything ready. She went to Astoria.
"Lemon-Donaghy."
"Here you go, miss."
"Can I have the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, please?"
"Here you are."
"Thank you."
Liz walked to the elevator. The doors were about to close when someone went inside the last minute.
Brad Pitt.
"Thanks," he said.
Liz smiled and nodded. Was she in the same elevator a Brad Pitt? Yes.
"Fancy event you going to?" he asked.
"Oh, this? Um, yeah."
"Golden Globes?"
"What?"
"The Golden Globes. You're Liz Lemon, right?"
"Yes, yes I am. But I'm not here for that."
Brad saw the "Do Not Disturb" sign Liz was holding in her hand.
"Oh, I get you. Well, this is my floor. Nice meeting you, Liz."
"You too!"
When she got to the room, it was huge. It was like two of her apartments in one. She quickly got the champagne and poured two glasses. She sat on the couch, legs crossed, with her left leg fully exposed.
Jack opened the door a few minutes later. He saw a woman, her body, but not her face. She was wearing a dress and she had a glass of champagne in her hand.
"Excuse me miss, do you know where Liz Lemon is?"
Liz turned on the light with a button.
"Hello, Jack."
Jack's eyes widened.
"Ah, Miss Lemon, there you are."
"Here's your champagne."
They talked for a while. She kind of considered it role-playing, since she wasn't talking like herself. They got pretty drunk at the end.
Jack kissed Liz.
"Mister Donaghy, I thought you were gonna get married tomorrow."
"It's bad luck to see the bride on the day of the wedding."
There was no communication when Jack was guiding Liz to the bed.
"Okay, the role-playing can stop now."
Liz chuckled.
"I know, Jack."
"But you do look gorgeous, you know."
"It was--"
"Money well spent, indeed."
Jack was trying to get Liz's dress off, but it wouldn't budge.
"Oh, be careful with that, that was your money."
"I don't care. We can buy you a new one. I have all the money to buy you anything."
Yup, this was the best bachelor party he's had. And is he loving it.
The next day, Jack woke up late. It was 10 am. His wedding starts in two hours.
"Wait, don't leave," Liz said, as she grabbed Jack's arm.
"I have to. Today's wedding day."
"At least help me with my clothes? Please."
"Alright."
When Jack was helping Liz with her dress, Liz looked sad.
"What's wrong?" Jack asked.
"It's just...gonna be different with you being married, you know?"
"How? You'll still be able to see me."
"Yeah, but I won't be able to kiss you, and have all this time with you."
"I can still kiss you and we can schedule dinners for us to talk. Liz, look at me."
Liz looked at Jack.
"It's gonna be fine. I'm still gonna be Jack, your go-to guy."
Liz smiled.
"Okay, I believe you."
"Alright, let's go."
"Wait."
Jack straightened his tie.
"There. Perfect."
When they got outside the doors, paparazzi were everywhere.
"Jack! Who's the woman?" one photographer asked.
Jack ignored them, and they kept their heads down.
When they finally got to the place where he was gonna get married, Avery was waiting for them. Liz covered Jack's eyes.
"It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!"
Jack turned to his room to get his tuxedo ready.
"So, how was it?" Avery asked.
"How was what?"
"Jack."
"Who, Jacky? He's the best one. I don't know what I would do without him."
"Yeah, I suppose that's true. Come on, get into your dress. The wedding starts in 10 minutes."
"Hey, Avery?"
"What?"
"Can you promise me one thing?"
"And that is...?"
"Don't leave Jack, okay? He's a nice guy, and he really loves you."
Avery left without saying a word.
Finally it was time for the wedding. Jack had never seen Liz in her bridesmaid dress before, so he was quite surprised at what he saw.
She stood at Avery's side, not looking happy. For some reason, she looked sad.
After the wedding, when Avery and Jack were about to go on their honeymoon, Jack told the driver to stop. He got out of the car and went to Liz.
"Jack? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be with Avery."
"I know. But I couldn't leave without giving you this."
He gave her one last kiss, and a hug.
"Bye, Jack."
Nine months later, Liz did give birth. To a baby boy. She named him Jacob. He was perfect.
Three years later, Avery and Jack divorced. Abbie (their child) was only three. Jack and Liz lost touch, but he shortly found out that he had a son. He went to Liz's apartment, seeing her carrying a two-year old boy with brown hair and blue eyes. Just like his.
"Jack?"
"Is this...is this my son?"
She smiled.
"Yup. This is little Jake Lemon."
"Lemon? You mean you're not married?"
"Still single."
Jack kissed Liz.
"I'll fix that."
He carried little Jake in his hands and went inside their house.
"Hey, Jake. Can you say 'Dada'?"
"Daddy."
Jake hugged his dad.
"P-p-product Integ-g-gration."
"I think he's taking after you, Jack."
"And I'm proud of him. Get some sleep, Lemon. I'll catch up with you later. I'm gonna talk to him."
Liz waved goodbye and kissed her family goodnight.
