Just A Fancy Dinner With A Friend

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters, not mine.
Spoilers: when they were talking about their dinner plans :)
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: "Well hello, Mrs. Donaghy."

"Do you have any plans for tonight?"
"I do. I bought an Activia Microwaveable Panini--"
"Good god, have dinner with me!"
"Just the two of us?"
"Yes!"
"Okay."
Liz knew Jack was gonna take her to a fancy restaurant. She just knew it. Luckily, she had just enough money to buy those Oscar Delarenta--wait, Delarento dress she'd been looking at for months. She wanted to feel pretty and now was her chance.
She finished putting the last of her make-up and went outside. Jack's limo was there, but he was not. Instead, his driver, or should she say, their driver since she gets a ride from him every single day with Jack, greeted her.
"Hello, Miss Lemon. Mister Donaghy is actually already there. He wanted it to be a surprise."
"Well, not much of a surprise if you tell me."
When the driver dropped Liz off, Liz went to the desk.
"Donaghy, for two."
The woman smiled.
"Ah, yes. Mrs. Donaghy, right this way please."
The women led Liz to the table where Jack was.
"Here you are. May I take your coat?"
"Yes, please."
"Would you like anything to drink, Mrs. Donaghy?"
"No, thank you. Maybe later."
"Mister Donaghy?"
"Later."
The woman left and Liz went and ate her food.
"So, why are we being called the Donaghys now?" she asked.
"Don't you like it? I mean, people think you're rich now and you're being treated with respect."
"Yeah, I mean it's kind of great, with all these privileges, but I'm not wearing any ring."
"Here, wear this."
Jack handed her a ring. Nothing extravagant, just handed it to her. Liz put it on.
"Is this for reals, Jack?"
"Do you...want me to marry you?"
"I mean, it's totally okay if we don't. We're just good friends. But marriage. That's life commitment, Jack."
"I know. But there's something I realize the other day. I could never be the man I am today if it weren't for you. You changed my life, Liz."
"So this just isn't a fancy dinner with a friend?"
"That's why it was a surprise."
"Okay. I will marry you, Jack."
The music started playing. Jazzy music. Everything was quiet except for the saxophone having its solo and Jack saying all the things he loved about Liz.
Jack was giving her the stare. The stare that made her tremble.
"Do you want to dance?"
This was definitely not a friend dinner, but it was better than staying at work.

Another Promise Let Down

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters
Spoilers:
Pairing: Jack/Liz, Jack/Avery
Summary: "And I got to thinking, that should be me."
(Follow-up to "Wrong in A Good Way"!)

"And I got to thinking, that should be me. But that was ages ago," Liz said, as she was talking to her shrink.
"Well, Liz--" the shrink began to say.
"So should I continue to sleep with him or no? I mean, what if Avery finds out?"
"Well--"
"But she won't know if he pretends he's gonna go to one of his kids' event! So what should I do?"
"If it's healthy for you, then yes."
Liz looked relieved.
"Really?"
"Um, yes."
"Thanks Doctor...couldn't have done it without you."
After Liz left, Jack was calling her. She didn't hear her phone ringing, so it went to voicemail.
"Lizzie, it's me. Call me!"
Jack got out of the bathroom and opened the door. Standing in front of him was five year old Abbie.
"What were you doing in there?"
"I was using the bathroom."
"Why did I hear the shower door close?"
"What, do you have x-ray hearing?"
Abbie nodded.
Avery walked through the halls.
"Mom! Jack took a shower with his clothes on!"
Avery stood there, with a confused face.
"Yo! You gonna help?"
"Yo, are you?"
"Yeah, sure."
At about seven o'clock, Jack stood up from his bed.
"Why are you taking your phone to the bathroom?" Avery asked.
"I wasn't meaning to."
"Put her to bed, will you?"
Jack carried Abbie to her bed. He was about to get up when Abbie put his hand on her chest. Jack stayed.
Meanwhile, Liz was wearing her new dress. She'd been waiting for two hours.
She sighed and put the cake that she baked in a container and turned the light off.
Another promise let go, she thought.

Listen Up

Rating: PG, for language.
Disclaimer: Tina's characters...
Spoilers: "Gentlemen's Intermission" when he talks to Liz's fiancé.
Pairing: Jack/Liz friendship (maybe something in the end...), Liz/Other
Summary: "You listen up!"

"Hey, Jack?"
"What is it, Lemon? I'm in the middle of something."
"I want you to have dinner. With me and my fiancé."
Jack bounced off his seat.
"Fiancé? You're getting married?"
Liz looked confused.
"Aren't you happy for me?"
"I am. I am. I'm just shocked you didn't tell me you even had a boyfriend."
"Well, you were busy and for all I know, you could have been screwing some model when he proposed."
Jack's face was blank.
"Very well, Lemon. I will meet him."
"Great! It's at the Cheesecake Factory at seven. The reservation is Lemon-Donaghy."
"Why is it Lemon-Donaghy and not Lemon-whatever your boyfriend's last name is."
"James. His last name is James."
"So if you marry him, your name will be Liz James? That doesn't sound right."
"It'll be Elizabeth James. Very proper."
"I'll see you at seven, Lemon."
At exactly seven, Jack went to the cheesecake factory in his best tux.
"Lemon-Donaghy," he said.
The waiter showed him the table where he saw Liz and a man at the table. Liz was wearing a fancy dress, while her fiancé was wearing casual clothes.
"Hey Jack," she smiled.
"I want you to meet my fiancé. Robert James."
"Hello Robert," he said, with an annoyed look.
There was a silence for about five minutes, until the waiter came by to ask what they'll have for a drink.
"What would you like to drink?" asked the waiter.
"White wine, please." Liz said.
"Ah, same here." Jack replied.
"I'll have...water."
A non-drinker! What has Liz Lemon gotten into now? How will they fulfill...stuff?
Jack was really getting mad now.
"Hey, I have to go to the restroom. I'll see you two in a bit."
As soon a Liz left, Jack started talking.
"Alright, who are you?"
The man said nothing.
"Who are you?"
"I'm her fiancé."
"Well, I have something to say to you, Robert James. Liz is the funniest, smartest, sexiest, hottest, brainy-est, warmest, most humanitarian, most creative woman yet. And if you hurt her. Hurt her, I will hunt you down. I don't care what country you'll be in, but wherever that is, I'll kick your ass so hard, you'll be puking up my toenails. No woman deserves to be treated like shit. Especially Elizabeth Lemon. So don't ever, ever do that to her. I know you cheated on her. Don't do it again. Or there will be consequences."
To tell you the truth, Liz never went to the restroom. She wanted to see what Jack would say. But, she also knew that Robert had cheated on her. She was gonna call it quits tonight anyway. She went back to the table.
"Hey guys. Did you do any talking?"
Jack stared at Robert and him and Robert traded seats.
Jack put his arm around Liz.
"This woman is a wonderful friend. Don't let this kind of person slip away."
"And you're my best friend, Jack."
They both smiled.
Liz slowly took the ring off her finger and placed it on Robert's palm.
"I know. You cheated on me. Goodbye, Robert."
Robert left the restaurant and Liz started crying. She did love Robert, but she'd just never been cheated on like that for a long time.
Jack was there to dry away her tears and he kissed her forehead.
At least no one will take her from me this time, he thought.

Donaghy, What Even?!

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters, James-Bond-acting Jack
Spoilers: None
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: "Donaghy. Jack Donaghy."

It was one October night when Jack decided to visit his old friend. He knocked on the door, but instead, a woman appeared. She was wearing a gorgeous bluish-silverish dress with sequins all over, hugging her body. Her hair was in a side ponytail and she was wearing just the right amount of make-up. She was rather beautiful.
"Donaghy. Jack Donaghy."
The woman laughed flirtatiously.
"I'm Elizabeth. Pleasure to meet you, Jack."
Jack kissed her hand.
"Pleasure's mine."
"Are you looking for Mitchell? Oh, I'm sorry. Please, come in."
Elizabeth let Jack inside the house.
"Sit on the couch." she said.
"What's going on? What happened to Mitch?"
"He...passed away this morning. I know you can't hear me over all these partying. You wanna go upstairs?"
"That's fine."
She led him up the stairs to her room, where she saw two people making out.
"Leave. Now."
The couple left and she closed the door.
"I was his sister," she began to say, as she held Jack's hand.
"I know how much he meant to you. He was like your best friend."
"Elizabeth,"
"Please, call me Liz. I'm tired of everyone calling me Elizabeth during formal events."
"Liz, thank you for telling me. I wouldn't have known if it weren't for you. Now, I have to go."
"Stay here for a little while, won't you?"
Jack saw her eyes. Very shark-like. Almost as if she was hypnotizing him to stay.
"Alright."
"Would you like me to grab some drinks?"
Jack quickly kissed her, then pulled away, looking at her reaction.
"Don't stop." she said.
And so, he kept going.

Jack woke up, in his bed, alone.
"Good god, what was that dream?"
He got dressed for work.
As he was working, he couldn't help but remember his dream. He remembered everything that happened. How the kissing lead to...other stuff. And how he saw everything. But really, Liz?
"Morning, Jack." Liz said as she walked in the door.
"Oh, uh, Lemon. Hello."
"What's wrong, Jack?"
"Can I...tell you something?"
"Sure. What is it?"
"I had a dream last night."
"Everybody dreams"
"But this one was different. It was very James Bond like."
"And what's wrong with that?"
"It was a sex dream."
"With who? Jenna?"
"Um..."
"Sue?"
"You, Lemon! I had a sex dream about you."
"Me?"
"Yes, you."
"Care to describe?"
"Well, your brother died. And then I kissed you. And then we did it, and I saw everything."
Liz just looked stunned.
"Ugh, what?! You were fantasizing about me?"
"It was a dream! I don't have control over my dreams."
"How long have you been fantasizing about me?"
"Do I really need to tell you?"
"Jack."
"Five years! Each year, on the fourteenth of October, ever since I met you, I've always had that same dream."
"But, October 14th. That's my birthday."
"Then Happy Birthday, Lemon."
And he slowly kissed her.
"Jack, no!"
Liz left his office, leaving Jack stunned.
"Someday, Lemon. Someday."

The Engagement

The Engagement
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: All of Tina's characters, anonymous are mine, plot is from "The Proposal"
Spoilers: The Proposal
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: "Elizabeth, sweet, Elizabeth. Will you marry me?"

A few men went inside Jack's room one day.
"What is it, gentlemen?"
"Jack, you're getting deported."
Jack started laughing.
"Ha, good one! Now what is it that you really need?"
"Jack, you are getting deported."
"And may I ask why?"
"52 years ago, a certain woman went to Ireland after her boyfriend broke up with her. She was drunk. And 9 months later, she gave birth to someone in Dublin. We're talking about you, Jack."
"I'm the woman?"
"Stop acting stupid. We're saying that you are the son and Colleen Donaghy was the woman."
"This is an outrage! Who do you think becomes president when the vice president gets shot?!"
"Nancy Pelosi."
Before Jack could reply, Liz came in the door. And then he had the idea.
"Gentlemen, I would like you to meet Elizabeth Lemon, my fiancé."
And that's when Liz found herself wanting to punch Jack.
"I'll tell you the story. Just pretend to be laughing when I'm whispering something to you."
And so Liz did what she was told.
"Excuse us, gentlemen."
"Okay, tell me the story." Liz asked impatiently, but laughing while her hand touched his chest.
"I'm getting deported. To Ireland. If you marry me, we'll have to go back to Ireland, where Colleen took her vacation this year, and tell her all about us."
"What?!"
"Look, keep calm. Now, let's hug so they won't think we're fighting."
"N-n-no."
"Isn't this nice?"
"Mm-hmm."
Jack's hand slowly went lower Liz's back and down to her ass.
"Boop, boop, boop."
"Touch my ass again and I will cut your balls off in your sleep. Got it?"
"Yeah."
"Such a good little fiancé."
And Liz slapped him on the cheek.
"May we continue?" the gentlemen asked.
"Of course." Liz said.
"Now, you'll have to go to the agency to prove that you're actually getting married."
"You don't trust me?" Jack asked.
"It's confirmation, Jack." the man said.
"We have scheduled an appointment for you at 4 pm today."
"Today? That only gives us about two hours to--" Liz started to say.
"To love each other, right Lizzie?" Jack continued.
Liz wanted to smack him in the face.
"That's...right, Jack."
"Well, then. Congratulations." and the men left.
When they closed the door, Liz began talking.
"What was that about?"
"What?"
"The violations, the hugging, the "love-making" comment."
"It was for appearance."
"But, why? Why me?"
"It was the only thing I could think of!"
"Fine. Ask me nicely."
"'Ask you nicely' what?"
"Ask me nicely to marry you, Jack."
Jack got on one knee.
"Lemon, will you marry me?"
"Say it like you mean it."
"Elizabeth, sweet Elizabeth,"
"I'm listening."
"Will you please, with cherries on top, marry me?"
"Okay. I don't appreciate the sarcasm, but yes. I will marry you. I'll see you at four."
"Hey, wait. Don't we need to know about each other?"
"I already know everything about you."
"What's the size of--"
"Five inches but it's thick."
"And might I ask...how?"
"You said that to Jonathan the first time we met."
"And how am I supposed to know everything about you?"
"You'll know. Except one thing."
"Your middle name."
"What is it?"
"Just say it's a German name that you can't pronounce."
"I'll see you later, Lemon."
At four, they both met up at the agency when they saw the man that would be asking them questions.
"You know, one answer and I will take you down." said the man.
"Um, okay?" Liz said.
"Let's do this."
When it was Liz's turn, the man started asking her the questions.
"What's Jack's favorite color?"
"I don't know, red?"
"No."
"Blue?"
"No."
"Green? Sort of like a hunter green, maybe?"
"No. He knows your favorite color."
"B-"
"It's white. His favorite color is white."
Then it was Jack's turn.
"Who's on top?"
"Excuse me?"
"Who's on top?"
"Are you asking me about my sex life with her?"
"Just answer the question."
"I...am?"
After the long hours, they went and got their luggage and headed to Ireland.

The Truth

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: All of Tina's characters.
Spoilers: Season 1 finale- "Hiatus"
Pairing: Jack/Liz, Jack/Avery
Summary: The heart monitor decides the truth.

It started out on a cool winter evening in Liz's apartment. She was making dinner for her and Jack to celebrate Christmas 22 days early. She hadn't cooked for a long time, but she wanted to try it. She hadn't called Jack yet, because she didn't want him to come so early.
After she got everything set, she called Jack.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Jack. You wanna come over and spend Christmas dinner with me?"
"It's December 3rd. Why would we need to spend it now?"
"I'm going to travel on Christmas day."
"Alright. I'll be there at 7."
Just before Jack left, someone stopped him.
"Where are you going?" asked Avery.
"Oh, um, work."
"Why? You're done for today."
"It's for the new GE microwave."
"Look, if it's about Liz, just tell me."
"It's not about Liz."
"Okay, whatever."
Jack slammed the door at her. He didn't care. He'd been in fights with her for the past week. He was so mad at her that he told the driver to drive faster. Eventually, the driver couldn't turn the right turn and the car crashed onto another car.
It was 7:01. Jack was never late. He came in at the exact time. She started pacing around her apartment, thinking that something went wrong.
The phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Miss Lemon?"
"This is she."
"Mister Donaghy has been in an accident--"
"I'll be right over."
Liz grabbed a taxi and told the driver to go to the hospital.
When she got there, she went straight to the desk.
"Lemon. Somebody called me." she said.
"Oh, yes. Mister Donaghy designated you as his emergency contact."
"I know, I know. Where is he?"
"He's inside, miss. But family only."
"But I'm his emergency contact."
"You get to see him tomorrow morning."
Liz didn't have time to think.
"I'm his girlfriend. I need to see him."
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Please, go right in."
Liz knocked on the door of the hospital room Jack was.
"It's open." he said.
Liz went inside with a chocolate covered cake.
"You want a snack?"
"Good god, yes."
Liz saw his heart rate slow down. Avery came dashing in the door.
"Alright, who's your girlfriend?" she said, angrily.
Liz quickly turned around to see who it was.
"Oh, Avery. Um, hi. I'm-I'm not his girlfriend. I just wanted to see him because I'm his emergency contact."
"You put her as your emergency contact?" she said to Jack.
"Yes, I did."
Liz knew this was the time to work the lie detector, since Colleen said to use it for emergencies. But this was an emergency.
"Jack, did you get in a car accident?" she asked.
"Yes, I did."
She saw his heart rate slow down.
"What time were you supposed to come at my house?"
6:00 and I know I was late.
His heart rate sped fast.
"Do you love me?"
"Of course I do!"
His heart rate slowed down.
Avery was just standing there.
"Do you love me?"
Jack had no answer but his heart rate was speeding.
"Oh. I see."
She left the hospital room.
"Was that the truth?"
"If Colleen hadn't taught you how to use the heart monitor, I would say it was a lie."
"So it was?"
"That's what my heart says."
"You actually did Hard Equations And Rational Thinking on me and Avery?"
"No, I mean, my real heart."
"What do you suppose we do now?"
"I'll see you tomorrow at work, Lemon."
"See you in the morning?"
"Yeah."
Liz left the hospital that night, finally relieved.

Christmas Day

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's brain, peoples.
Spoilers: None.
Pairing: Jack/Liz, Jenna/Kenneth
Summary: Future Christmas Day.

"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" two little kids said, jumping on Jack and Liz's bed.
Both their visions were blurry in the morning and when both of the kids came up to their faces, they knew it was their kids. Abbie, the oldest, was three. Kay, the youngest, was two.
"What is it?" Liz asked.
"It's snowing and it's Christmas!" Kay said.
Jack quickly got up and carried Kay and held Abbie's hand to go to the tree.
"You getting up?" Jack asked.
"I'll be there."
When they all got to the tree, the kids opened their presents, while Liz was having her coffee, her head on Jack's shoulders.
"What's that one, Daddy?" the sisters asked.
"Open it. It's for both of you."
When the opened the present, inside was a golden retriever puppy.
"What's its name?"
"Samantha. You can call her Sammie for short." Liz said.
"Mommy, Sammie has something in her mouth. A tiny box."
"Sammie! Come here, girl." Jack called.
Sammie came to Jack and gave the box to him. Jack called Liz over to stand on the Christmas tree.
"What are you up to, Jack?"
Jack knelt on one knee.
"Lizzie, will you marry me?"
In the distance, you could hear Abbie and Kay saying
"Go for it, Mommy! Marry Daddy!"
Finally, Liz said
"Alright! But it's not the kids who made me. It's your personality. And how you looked this morning. How your hair was all messed up and how your blue eyes were staring at me when I was about to wake up. How you make me coffee in the morning and how you tell me you love me every single day. How you get me all these little presents and surprises and how you kiss me. So yes, I will marry you."
Jack kissed Liz and Kay started singing
"Every kiss begins with Kay!"
Jack put the ring on Liz's finger and they went back to opening their presents.
After they finished opening the presents, they all went outside and ice skated. Now that Liz looked at it, the house they bought was absolutely amazing. It was in upper New York, and they had 10 acres in land. Their next door neighbor was none other than Jenna and Kenneth, with their daughter, Betty. She saw her kids making snow angels and Jack taking pictures of them. The smiles on their faces made Liz just tear up a little bit. Jack came up to Liz.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. Nothing. I just like seeing a beautiful family. I couldn't have been happier. For everything, Jack, Thank you."
"SNOWBALL FIGHT!" Betty yelled as she threw the snowball at Abbie. They threw each other snowballs, even Jack, Liz, Jenna and Kenneth. They never thought they would be parents. They'd always think that they would spend the rest of their lives being single, occasionally having a relationship.
"Some kids, huh?" Jenna said as the four of them sat at the table.
"They run around everywhere, but they have the cutest little pitter-patters." Liz said.
"So, what's been going on with you two lately?"
"Well, um, Jenna? Jack and I are getting married."
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I'm so happy! Kenneth aren't you happy?"
"Of course. I'm happy for Miss Lemon and Mister Donaghy both."
"Are you two thinking of marriage?"
"We actually just got married two weeks ago."
"Why didn't you invite us?"
"We eloped."
"That's right, because no one wants to know that Jenna Maroney got married."
They all shared a laugh.
When the Parcells left, they took Abbie and Kay with them too.
"You sure with the babysitting, Jenna?"
"I'll be fine, Liz! Have fun on your date with Jack!"
She closed the door and headed for the closet.
She couldn't help but notice that there was a ring on her finger. She smiled. And she got ready for their night out.

Four

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's mind
Spoilers: Nope
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: For a night, Liz finds out what it truly feels to become a Donaghy (again).

"What do you need, Jack?" Liz asked impatiently.
"Lemon, I have a gala I need to get to tonight."
"You want me to be executive for the night? I'll go get my office clothes."
"No, I want you to go with me."
"As your friend, right?"
"Unfortunately, no. See, Bianca, her husband and her friends will all be there and I need you to be..."
"Your wife?"
"Just for tonight."
"Um...okay."
"I have thought of other choices but..."
"Jack."
"Bianca knows you and..."
"Jack."
"Those other girls are far too..."
"Jack! I said yes, okay?"
"You did?"
"Yeah."
Jack got out of his seat and went and sat next to her in the loveseat.
He knelt on one leg.
"Will you...marry me?"
Liz slapped his arm playfully.
"Stop playing, Jack. I've been married," she inserted airquotes "to you at least four years."
"Four years tomorrow."
"You're really counting?"
"It's  just in my head, Lemon. Never counted, but my mind has that capability."
"Yeah, yeah. Enough about your brain. So, will you buy me a dress or do I...?"
"The dress is already taken care of."
"What time does it start?"
"Eight."
"Last question. Where is it?"
"Los Angeles."
"LA?! We're going to a gala in LA?!"
"You said that was your last question. Goodbye, Lemon. I'll see you at six."
"Y-y-yeah. See you at six."
At exactly 6 PM, Jack knocked on Liz's door. She opened the door, half dressed.
"You're not ready?"
"There was something I needed to take care of back at the office. I just need my dress."
"Oh, here you go."
Liz put the dress on.
"Help me with the zipper?"
Jack helped her and they were ready to go.
On the plane, they thought about how they were gonna nail it being husband and wife.
"And our story?"
"Four years ago. I met you as my boss and we fell in love. You asked me to marry you in Ireland for our six month anniversary and I said yes. We took our honeymoon in Italy."
"And what else...?"
"I'm four weeks pregnant."
"Looks like four is our lucky number."
"How did you get attracted to me, then?"
"Well, let's see. Your eyes. They always twinkle when you're around me. Your creativity, wits and of course, your beauty."
"Will there be any...?"
"No violations, I promise. Above your ass is where I'll stay."
When they got to the gala, they stayed behind the doors for a minute where the mirror was. Liz was straightening his tie just as the door opened. It was Bianca. Jack didn't have time to think as he kissed Liz for a second while Bianca was coming over.
"Jack and..." Bianca started to say.
"Elizabeth. Elizabeth Donaghy." Liz said, half-shocked and half-angry for Jack kissing her.
"Oh, that's right. Well, a lovely couple indeed. Our photographers took a picture of you two just a second ago."
"They did?" Jack and Liz both asked.
"It's on the screen. Well, let's go inside, shall we?"
And there it was. On three big screens. Jack kissing Liz. It wasn't a nasty kiss (because that's what Liz thought), but more of a romantic kiss. She didn't notice how her hands were on his shoulders. People began applauding.
"And this picture was taken by none other than our photographer, John Lutz!"
Liz almost spit her wine out. Lutz came up to the stage and started auctioning.
"100,000 dollars!" a man said.
"Going once, going twice.." Lutz said.
"500,000 dollars!" a woman said.
"Going once.."
"1,500,000 dollars." Bianca said.
"Going once..."
"4,000,000 dollars." Jack finally said.
"Going once, going twice... And sold to Mister Jack Donaghy and his wife Elizabeth Donaghy themselves!"
"Why four million?" a reporter asked as Jack and Liz went up to the stage.
"Because of four." Jack started to say, but Liz took the microphone away.
"Tomorrow, Jack and I will be celebrating our four year anniversary. And also, I'm four weeks pregnant. He decided to choose four because he knows the first time we kissed was on 4th street and that tomorrow is also the day I'm turning forty."
A crowd of people said "Awws."
"Thank you very much for giving this to us." Jack said.
People started clinking their wine glasses.
"They want us to kiss, Liz."
"Haven't you done enough today?"
"Please, Lemon. I'll let you have that trip to Miami."
"With the crew?"
"It wouldn't be the same without the crew."
"Oh, fine."
Jack and Liz kissed one "last" time. After that, they sat at their table and Liz finally got to eat. Occasionally, some people would congratulate them, but all the while, both didn't notice that they were holding hands. But it didn't matter if they knew or not. Because Bianca was there, looking like she was about to smash her own face on the pavement.

The Kissing Game

Rating: PG/PG-13ish
Disclaimer: Characters not mine.
Spoilers: None
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: Drunk Liz...

It was Christmas Eve and she was drunk. Like really drunk. Liz was so drunk she was willing to do anything. The writers dared her to try and start a kissing game.
"All right, bring it on!!!!" Liz said as she sat on the chair.
First up was Lutz.
"Ugh. Gross, Lutz!"
"How does she know?" he whispered to the crew.
"Because...you have no idea have to kiss. It's like a doggie kiss, all slobbery and nasty."
"Score one for the sugarbaker ladies at home!" Liz said.
Next, was Toofer.
"Um...Toofer."
Again, people asked how she knew.
"Very polite, proper. And because your lips tasted like fried chicken, which I saw you eat earlier."
And now, the final contestant. No one dared to even get a few feet close to her.
"Come on, you nerds! Anything?"
"Take a break, Liz. Brush your teeth, for once." the guys said.
"Ugh, you jags."
They took a short 10 minute break, in which Liz ate for the first 5 minutes and cleaned herself up for the next five. She took her place back and put the blindfold on.
Meanwhile, Jack was looking for something to eat, since he's been working since lunch, which was nearly nine hours ago. He'd usually tell Jonathan to get the finest food in the city, but since he'd heard the racket all around the writer's room from nearly floors away, he went down to see what they were up to.
"Hurry it up before I'm gonna need more beer."
Jack went in the writer's room as Liz said that. He asks what was going on and Frank told him that they were in the middle of the "Kissing Game."
Jack approached Liz and gave her a kiss. A short kiss, but the kiss lingered on Liz's lips for at least a minute until she made her prediction.
"Jack."
"And this concludes our game, Elizabeth Lemon sure knows who she's kissing! Until next time on the kissing game." Frank said.
"How did you know it was him?" Jenna asked, curiously.
"We...have something to tell you." Liz said.
"Tell them, Liz."
"Tell us what?" Cerie asked.
"Hey, guys! It's almost Christmas!" someone shouted.
"There's always next time to tell them, right, Jack?"
"There's always a next time. You wanna go home?"
"I'm starving."
"I thought you just ate."
"That's not what I'm hungry for."
And Jack had the driver drive to his house as fast as he could. And he knew this was gonna be a good Christmas.

A Certain Craving

Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Tina's characters
Spoilers: None (yet...)
Pairing: Jack/Liz, mention of Liz/Carol & Jack/Avery
Summary: Liz is 8 months pregnant.

"Liz Lemon, you look like an inflated balloon!"
"Tracy, she's pregnant." Jenna said.
"Can both of you just...go back to work!"
Liz slammed her office door in their faces.
Liz couldn't help it. Carol was gonna be back in two months and she's due in 30 days. Her boyfriend, who impregnated her, was not gonna be there. She decided to go up to Jack's office.
"Yes, Avery, we're planning the C section. Okay, I will. Goodbye."
Jack hung up the phone and he cursed under his breath.
"Hey, Jack. Can I talk to you about something?"
"What do you need, Lemon?"
Jack hasn't looked up from his papers. The last time he saw Liz was about a month ago, since she took a little vacation. Her stomach and her breasts weren't as large as they had been now.
"Carol's not gonna be here until March."
"Which means...?"
"Jack, look at me!"
Jack finally looked up and he saw pregnant Liz.
"I am looking."
"I have these hormone swings. And right now..."
"You're horny and you want to get some."
"I never said I was horny. I just want to get some."
"And you're coming to my office because?"
"Why are you acting like a total jag right now? Carol's not here and I want you to do me!"
"You want me..." he paused as he pointed to himself, "To do you..?" He pointed to her.
"For now, yes. Please. I haven't had sex for a LOOONG time. And I need someone good."
"So, you're predicting I'm good in bed?"
"I'm not predicting. I know, Jack. So just please. Just this once."
"Close the door, Lemon."

LATER:
The baby started kicking.
"Oh my god, what did I do?" Jack said.
Liz smiled at him.
"You stopped. She's awake."
"You want me to put her back to sleep?"
"That would be so good."
"By the way, Lemon. Have you thought about names?"
"No. I haven't had time to discuss that with Carol yet. All I know is that it's a girl. You wanna see a picture of her?"
"Later, Lemon. Right now, we have to get your cravings fulfilled."
"How do you make that sound so dirty?"
"It's a gift."
"Okay, less talking, more doing."
Half an hour later, Liz and Jack put their clothes back on.
"Are you happy now, Liz?"
"Yeah. That was...mind-blowing, Jack. And I can't believe you did that for me."
"Well, I normally don't take requests from co-workers, but I know you needed it."
When they walked to the place where the elevators were, Jack took the elevator without people in it and as the elevator doors closed, he pushed the emergency stop button and put his coat over the security cameras.
"Why'd we stop?"
"Oh please. Like your horniness is gone."
"It is!"
"It's not. I should know."
"Oh that's right because you're taking care of your fiancé and you're in work screwing your best friend."
"I'd like to think of it like that, yes."
"So you'd rather have sex with me rather than...Avery?"
"Avery has a rather...thinner body shape, but you are much much better."
"Elevator sex it is."
As they were doing "it" in the elevator, Frank and the writers were checking out the security cameras all around the building.
"Hey, look. Why's that one covered?" Toofer asked.
"I don't know, maybe someone hijacked it."
"Boost the sound."
Frank boosted the sound up and all you could hear was Liz saying "Jack...Jack..." over and over and over. Then there was a loud thump and Jack's coat fell off the camera and you could see EVERYTHING that was in the elevator. Jenna walked in as the writers saw the sight.
"Is it porn day already?"
"I'd think you'd want to see who's doing it right now before saying that."
Jenna looked at the tv screen.
"It's...holy shit. It's Jack and Liz!"
After an hour, Jack pushed the emergency stop button back and they were moving again.
"So...you wanted to see the baby picture, right?"
"Precisely."
They stood there quietly until Liz pointed to something.
"Oh my god. The camera. We're being filmed!"
"What?"
"Look! Shit. Okay, when we get to the writer's room, make a run for it."
And they did do that. But when they reached the writer's room, everyone started applauding inside.
"Yeah! Good job on screwing her, Jack!"
Jenna stood up to leave, facing Liz.
"He was gonna fuck me first."
Jack and Liz finally made it to her office, where she gave him the picture.
"She's beautiful, Lemon."
"Thanks, Jack."
"What if you named her Katherine?"
"Katherine Lemon?"
"No, Katie, whatever Carol's last name is."
"We broke up, Jack. Girl answered his phone."
"It could have been a flight attendant."
"It was a flight attendant! We got into a huge fight on who was dating Carol. In the end, she won and I lost."
"And when did this exactly happen?"
"Just about when people were applauding you."
"So it is Katherine Lemon. You could call her Katie."
"I think it's pretty."
Jack left her office and put the ultrasound in a frame and put the framed picture in front of his desk where everyone could see. Even Avery.

Ice Skating

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: All of Tina's characters
Spoilers: Season 2 Christmas, i think. And Gilly from SNL!
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: Jack and Liz go ice skating. Liz does not know how to skate.

"Ice skating, Lemon. Ever tried that before?" Jack said as Liz walked in his office.
"When I was 12. And I really sucked because I had no balance on my feet."
"Well, I'll take you and I'll teach you."
"Jack Donaghy, the anti-fun guy, knows how to ice skate?"
"Lemon, when I was a young boy, my mother made me take sports lessons. I chose ice skating for two weeks, until Colleen said ice skating wasn't for men."
"When are we going?"
"Now."
"Now? I have work to do."
"Get Pete to fill in for you."
When they arrived at the ice rink outside, there were a few people. Jack paid (like always) for admission and the skates. They didn't rent one, because Jack already owned one and he bought Liz a pair.
They were on the ice when Liz was holding on to the bars.
"Lemon, let go of the railing."
"No."
"Lemon."
"What?"
"Lemon."
"That's me."
"Lemon."
"Ugh, fine!"
She slowly let go of the railing and as soon as she did, she fell.
Jack quietly laughed and helped her get back up and hold onto the railings again.
"Watch me, Lemon."
Liz watched as Jack sped through the skating rink two times and skated back to Liz backwards.
"And that...is how you ice skate."
Everyone started applauding.
"Oh yeah? Well, my confidence built up, so I can skate now. Watch me!"
She was doing great until she reached the middle of the rink, when she forgot to take a step, and she fell.
Jack skated to where she was and picked her up again.
"You need help, Lemon?"
"Teach me how to skate, Jack."
Jack thought for a moment, as Liz was trying so hard to keep her balance.
"Okay. Hold onto my hand as we skate through the rink."
Liz held Jack's hand. She had to admit, she felt better now with Jack holding her. His hands were warm and he never fell, so she was in good hands (literally).
Jack slowly let go of Liz's hand.
"You're doing it, Liz! You're ice skating."
Liz looked behind her. Jack wasn't there. He was in front of her.
"I-I'm ice skating!"
After about a half hour of competition and Liz falling, but Jack there to catch her, they went back and untied there skates.
"You did good, Lemon. You did good."

Hot In Miami

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: All of Tina's characters. Except anonymous peoples.
Spoiler: None
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: The TGS crew decides to take a trip to Miami.

"Miami, you guys! Miami!" Liz said as she walked in the writer's room. Everyone started cheering. It was almost Summer and everyone told Liz to ask Jack if the crew could go to Miami. Now that it was happening, she couldn't believe it.
"We leave at 11:00 am tomorrow. Writers, you go to American Airlines. I have your tickets. Jenna, Tracy, you go with me to Jack's private jet."
"His private what?" Tracy said.
"Private Jet."
"Private's bet?"
"His jet!" Liz finally shouted.
The next day, Liz was all set. She was wearing a summer dress and had everything ready to go. She met Jenna and Tracy at Jack's office.
"The writer's are at the plane. Let's go to Miami, folks." Jack said.
Ah, Miami. 93 degrees. The sight of the beaches.
"What's up, Miami? Tracy Jordan is here!" Tracy said as fans ran to him.
"Oh, are you a fan too? You want me to sign your chest?" Jenna said to the surfer guy next to her. The guy simply left and Liz talked to Jenna.
"Gosh, Jenna. Can't you keep it in your pants for 2 weeks?"
"It's not like you're getting any."
Liz sighed and went straight to Jack's car.
When they arrived at the hotel, everyone decided who to partner up with.
Danny, Toofer. Frank, Lutz. Cerie, Sue. Tracy has his own room. And Jenna might bunk with Liz. They got everything ready but Liz had something to take care of.
When she got back, she knocked on the door.
"Jenna? It's Liz."
No answer.
"She must be at Sue's room."
She knocked the door of Sue's room. Cerie answered.
"Oh, hey Liz. Jenna's bunking here."
"Well, where am I sleeping?"
"Your room is already checked out. But Jack's room has a second bed."
Liz had a frustrated look on her face.
"What room is he in?"
"418"
She went up the elevator. Third floor. Fourth floor. And she knocked on the door. Sure enough, it was open. She laid her stuff down on the next bed and started to eat. Then she saw a bag. She saw that it said "Liz" on it.
Inside, was a black bikini. And there was a letter attached.
"I thought you might need this. -Jack"
It was getting hot anyway. So she put the bikini on and wore a tank top and some shorts so she won't look like those sluts who walk around the beach with almost nothing on.
Jack got out of the shower.
"Lemon, what are you doing here?"
"Spare bed."
"Are you planning on going somewhere?"
"Oh yeah. Get your swimming clothes out, Jack. TGS is going swimming."
When they finally arrived, Liz took off her tank top and shorts and put them in her bag.
"Lemon, can you help me on the--"
"What, Jack?"
"You actually wore it."
"What, this? Yeah. Felt like it."
Jack was speechless.
"Here, I'll help you with that." Liz said as she carried the cooler with Jack just watching her.
"Whoa, is that Liz? She looks hot!" Frank said. Every guy on the TGS crew whistled at Liz.
"Is it that hot?"
Then, a cute guy came up to Liz.
"Hey there. You wanna go get a drink?"
Before Liz could answer, Jack picked her up bridal-style and headed for the beach.
"She's taken." he mouthed to the guy.
"Chicken Fight!" Liz shouted.
"Liz against Cerie."
"Okay, Jack you be my stand. Frank, Cerie's stand."
"Ready...set...go!!!!"
Ha, this was actually fun for Jack. One, because Liz was on top of him. And two, because it was with people who aren't afraid to have fun. This trip could actually be better than he expected.

Back To Work

Rating: PG/PG13-ish
Disclaimer: Characters are not mine. All of Tina's brain, and you know that!
Spoilers: None
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: Follow up to "Nurse Jackie"

January was a busy, busy month. Liz was feeling better, although she was limping a little bit. Their New Year's Eve party was amazing. And of course, it wasn't a public party. It was just the two of them. And by party, Jack means...business. And Liz means...it. They were still cleaning food on the floor, since Liz ate a lot during the countdown to 2011.
Now, it was the morning before they got to work.
"Liz, are you sure you're okay to go back to work?"
"Jack, for the 8th time, I'm fine. I'll call you during work if there's anything I need."
"You do realize we have to tell the crew right?"
"Ugh, today?"
"Lemon, you're a terrible liar so we have to tell them as soon as possible."
"Fine..."
"Lemon, do you have clothes you can wear?"
"Yeah, I'll wear the ones I wore last week. I washed them yesterday."
"No, that's not necessary."
Jack pulled out a shopping bag from the closet.
"You'll wear these."
Liz shut the closet door.
"You know I've seen you naked, so there's really no point of getting dressed in the closet."
Liz got out of the closet in only her underwear.
"Jack, I've only been living here for a week. Give me some time."
Jack kissed Liz on her cheek, and then her neck.
"Jack, I'm serious. Not now! We can't be late for work."
When Liz went back to the closet, she opened up the shopping bag. A winter dress, a fluffy jacket, heels and make-up. She put those on and got out of the closet.
"How do I look, Jack?" she asked.
"Wow, Lemon. You could actually pose as a rich person."
"Um, thanks, I guess."
When they got to 30 Rock, they went directly to the writer's room.
"Whoa, no Liz! Jack, who's the girl? She looks hot." Frank said.
Liz was wearing sunglasses, so no one could really recognize her, until she did take off her sunglasses.
"What are you talking about, nerds? It's still me."
There was a bunch of "Ohs" from the writers.
"There's gonna be a staff meeting at my office later during dress rehearsal. I only need Liz, Jenna, Tracy and Frank. Any others are welcome." Jack said.
It's as if no one was there, because everyone was just silent.
"Get back to work."
When meeting time finally came, Jack and Liz were sitting by each other at the loveseat while everyone was standing up.
"Okay, Jack. What do you need us for?"
"Jackie D, why you sitting there all cozy with Liz Lemon?"
"Jenna, Tracy, others, Liz and I have to tell you something."
"Did he just call her Liz?" Jenna whispered to Tracy.
Frank started laughing.
"That what, you and Liz are going out?" Frank said.
"Actually, yes."
Frank stopped laughing and that's when Liz got the nerve to talk. She stood beside Jack and held his hand.
"Okay, I think that about just wraps it up."
"Well, if this really isn't fake, why don't you kiss in front of us?"
"Yeah, KISS, KISS, KISS!" Tracy and Jenna both said. Jack and Liz thought they were surrounded by a bunch of eight year olds.
"Just do it, so they'll go away."
They kissed each other sweetly.
"Aw...it is real. Why did you even ask that, Frank? You wanna get fired or something?" Jenna said.
"Okay, now that you know it is real, I'll meet you in dress rehearsal."
When everyone finally left, there was a knock on the door.
"It's open!"
Colleen came in the door.
"I knew you could do it, Jackie."

Summary: You people are gonna kill me for this. It's just what the plot on the show says to do :(

Well, this was fun. Walking around New York City with Jack. Hugging Jack for warmth. Holding Jack's hands so her hands won't get frostbite. Yup, this was the funnest time Liz ever had. She smiled at him and when they were centimeters, no, millimeters, away from each other's face, Avery stopped them.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where do you think you're going with this Jack?"
"Oh, um, I was checking something in Lemon's chin."
"Oh, sure. It looks like you were about to kiss her."
"Ha! Kiss this person? With her food cravings, who knows what's been in her mouth?"
Liz felt like she'd been stabbed in the chest.
Jack and Avery shared a laugh.
"Come on, Avery. Let's get something to eat."
She was just about to burst into tears when Jack whispered to her in the distance.
"Dinner at 7, right?"
He had a smile on.
Liz just shook her head. Even from far away, he could see her hurting. It was a bad thing to say, but he had to for his own sake.
Liz just sat there, where they were moments ago, and cried.

Family Dinner

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters. Some mine...
Spoiler: none
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: A regular Donaghy family conversation...with food, of course.

"Twinkle, twinkle little star," Katherine kept singing as Jack played the notes on the piano while Liz was making dinner.
"You have the cutest voice ever, Katie." Jack said to the little three year old by him.
"Dinner's ready! Jack, Katie, Liv!"
Jack and Katie were walking to the dining room, but Olivia ran to the table as fast as she could.
"What's for dinner? What's for dinner?" she kept saying. Olivia was Jack and Liz's 6 year old daughter who loves food. She looked exactly like Liz. With the brown curls, the craving for food...everything except for her blue eyes which just made her prettier.
"Your favorite. Macaroni and cheese. And for dessert, I made brownies!!"
"Yay!!!" the kids both shouted.
"And for us parents, we're having a salad."
"Honey, it's okay. I'll have what they'll have."
"Are you sure, Jack?"
"Yes, I'm sure. I'll feed Katie today. She's still too small for the fork."
They ate quietly for about 3 minutes when Liz finally talked.
"So how was school today, Olivia?"
"It was awesome. We--"
"Liv, chew first, then talk." Jack said.
"As I was saying, we learned a song. A Christmas song."
"Well, sing it for us, since it's almost Christmas."
Liv took a deep breath.
"Silent Night, Holy Night, all is calm all is bright..."
She kept singing until Liz got tears in her eyes.
"Mommy, are you okay? Why are you crying?"
"No, it's nothing. You just have a beautiful voice."
"Hey! What about me, mommy?" Katie asked.
"Katie! You have a wonderful voice too."
A big smile went across her face.
"Daddy! More food!"
Jack started laughing.
"Looks like they both have your eating needs, Liz."
"Hey, what do you all want for Christmas?"
"I want a saxophone." Olivia said.
"Any particular brands or types?"
"Yup. I want the Yumaha E flat alto saxophone."
"You mean Yamaha, honey?"
"Yeah."
Jack seemed pretty proud of his daughter.
"That is awesome, Olivia. You're pretty, you have a good voice and then you'll learn how to play the saxophone."
"You gonna brag about her at the GE meeting tonight?"
"Which reminds me, Liv? You want to see how Daddy works?"
"I'll go get my dress. Mommy, can you straighten my hair?"
"I'll be right up, sweetie."
Liz looked at Liv's plate. Empty. She must've gobbled the whole thing up. He looked at Katie's plate. Empty. She's got one hungry family.
About a half hour later, Liz came running down the stairs.
"And now, I present to you, Miss Olivia Elizabeth Donaghy!"
Olivia was walking down the stairs with her straight hair, her beautiful black child's dress and white cardigan and her heels. She was little miss business girl.
"Is that my daughter?" Jack joked.
"Come on, dad. We wouldn't want you to be late."
"You guys go ahead. Hey, Jackie. Do you have the notes for 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'? I wanna play it for Katie."
"Yeah, they're by the table over there."
"Okay, thanks."
Liz kissed Jack and hugged him. She hugged Liv as well.
"Have fun!"
She shut the door and went straight to the piano. Even outside, you could hear the most beautiful voice a little three year old could sing.
"Twinkle, Twinkle little star."
"Great job, honey."
They fell asleep on the couch, which Jack thought was a wonderful thing to see as he walked in the door. But he noticed something. A little bump in Liz's stomach.
He carried Katie to sleep.
"Hey, Jack."
"Can I ask you something, Liz?"
"Okay. I'll tell you."
"That we're---"
"Expecting another baby."
Jack's face lit up.
"I hope it's a girl because I can't get enough of you three."
"Aw. That's sweet."
"We'll go to the ultrasound tomorrow, okay?"
"How'd you find out?"
"It was on our calendar."
Jack hugged Liz.
"I'm really happy that I chose this life."
"I am too."

Nurse Jackie

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters, but the title is based from Edie Falco's show....
Spoilers: None
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: Jack nurses Liz back to health. (This is the follow-up for "Just Wanna Stay Here.")

Three weeks later, Liz was released from the hospital. She was still in a wheelchair due to safety. Jack and Colleen were there to pick her up. Jack offered to help Liz get up, but Liz said she could get up herself.
She was doing fine, until Liz almost passed out near the limo. Luckily, Jack caught her.
"Lemon, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Jack. I'm just hungry."
"She's not breathing! Mouth to mouth, Jackie boy!" Colleen said.
"Colleen, I'm fine. I can assure you that." Liz said in the sweetest voice she could produce. Jack gave Liz something to eat.
"Lemon, I'm gonna let you live in my house for a while."
"What?"
"So I can help you to get better. Is that a problem?"
"No, no. Not at all."
As soon as Liz finished eating, they went to Jack's house. Liz walked to his bed and slowly fell asleep in it.
At about 6 pm, Liz woke up.
"Jack?"
No answer.
"Jack?!"
Jack rushed to their room.
"What is it, Liz?"
"My leg. I think it's bleeding again."
Jack checked her leg, and sure enough, it was bleeding. He went to the bathroom to grab paper towels and some warm water to take the excess blood off. When the excess blood finally went away, Jack put a big band-aid on her leg.
"Thanks for being my nurse."
"I'm your--"
"Nurse Jackie." they both said and bursted out laughing.
For the next two weeks, Liz ate and slept at Jack's house. She practically called it home. But when January 4th comes, they'll have to tell everybody.

Just Wanna Stay Here

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: All of Tina's characters!
Spoilers: "Christmas Attack Zone"
Pairing: Jack/Liz, little tiny mention of Jack/Avery
Summary: "Help me."

Liz didn't seem to mind how Jack's family was getting into a fight. She was on the bus, looking at the snowflakes outside her window. She was too busy to notice that the bus driver was drunk and that he took the wrong turn and that a truck ran over the bus.
Jack was still fighting with his parents until the news came on.
"The bus going from New York City to Whitehaven has gotten into an accident. Many people are injured, and so far, 18 have been killed."
Silence was around the room, except for Avery.
"What? Why is everyone being quiet?"
"T-that was the bus Liz was on." Colleen said as she pointed to the television.
"Oh, well. One dead. Okay, who's up for some salad?"
Before Jack could defend his friend, his phone started to ring. It was a happy ringtone, so he knew it was Liz.
"Lemon?"
"J-j-jack. Help me. I-I'm stuck to the b-bus. Where the truck is."
"I'm coming right away, Lemon. Don't hang up."
Jack informed to his parents and Avery that he was going to save Liz.
He went to his car and told his driver where Liz was. The driver drove as fast as he could, because he knew his boss cared about his dear friend so much.
When Jack got there, he was still on the phone with Liz.
"Jack, where are you?" Liz said in the most faintest voice ever.
"I'm coming, Lemon. I know this is gonna be hard but please, scream. Scream so I can find you."
Liz screamed as loud as she could, but it was no match for the sirens. But she kept on screaming. Jack past the police officer and found Liz.
"Lemon, I'm so glad I found you." Jack said, trying to fight back the tears. It eventually just came out.
Jack put her right hand on his face and rubbed the tears off his face.
"Shh, shh. It's gonna be okay. I'm gonna be okay." A smile was on her face. Jack saw that she was injured. The side of her face was bleeding and her right leg was bleeding all over Jack's pants. But, he had no time to think about that. He just wanted Liz to be okay.
"Jack?"
"What is it, Lemon?"
"I-I don't know if I can do this anymore."
"No. Don't say stuff like that."
"I want you to know that I...I l-love you." Liz passed out shortly after that.
Jack carried her like a groom would carry his bride. He placed her on a hospital bed, not letting go of her hand.
When she was finally in the hospital, Jack waited at Colleen's room.
"Is she alright? Is she okay?" Colleen kept asking.
"I don't know yet, mother. The nurse hasn't told me anything yet."
Avery just sat there, dumb-founded at why they all so care for Liz so much.
A few minutes later, a doctor came in.
"Where is Mister Donaghy?"
"Right here, sir."
"Yes, I'm here to tell you that Mrs. Donaghy is very injured but she'll be okay."
"You mean my mother over here?"
"No, I mean your wife, Elizabeth Donaghy, the one that was in the bus accident."
"May I go see her?"
"You are family, sir."
Jack shook his hand and said "Thank you."
Before he left, Avery shouted at him.
"She's not your wife, Jack!"
"It's a common mistake, Avery."
"Well. Why the hell did you not correct him then?"
"I don't have time for this."
"Well neither do I!"
As they both left the doors parting ways, Colleen was happy.
"Now he can be with Liz."
He saw Liz from the door. She looked so weak. She signaled for him to come over.
"Thanks, Jack."
"Anything for you, Lemon."
They wouldn't stare each other in the eye, but they were holding hands. They knew something changed that day. That their friendship would never be the same. She loved him. But does he love her? He looked at her, cupping her face with both his hands and planted a kiss on her lips. He could imagine the faint smile on her lips when they were kissing, because when they separated, she had the biggest smile.
"So, don't you have to go back to Avery?"
"No, me and her broke up moments ago. I just wanna stay here."
Liz smiled and kissed that face that she loved so much again.

Summary: This is not the follow-up to "Wrong In A Good Way"!

Ah, the day after Christmas. The sight of the snow outside, the heater going around your room, Jack next to you on your bed. Life's---wait. Jack. Jack Donaghy. In my bed.
That's what Liz thought when she woke up that day. She checked under the covers. Sure enough, both of them were, of course, naked. She tried to get up so quietly but before she could even set a foot on the ground, Jack held her wrist.
"Good morning, beautiful."
"Um, hi?"
Jack was startled.
"Liz?! You were the one I was sleeping with last night?!"
"My thoughts exactly."
"But, with that capability of--"
"No, Jack. Stop talking. How did this happen? Were we drunk last night or something?"
Before he could answer, Liz's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Liz. It's Jenna."
"Oh, hi. Why'd you call?"
"I just wanted to know why you and Jack were so giggly last night at my Christmas party and why you left early."
"Um-"
"No, it's fine. I'm happy for you and Jack, actually! I just don't know why you wouldn't tell me you were together. Well, I just needed to know. Okay, bye."
And Jenna hung up before Liz could even explain.
"Great, Jack. Now Jenna thinks we hooked up last night. And now everyone will know. Look, check the news."
Jack turned on her TV and sure enough, it was on "Hot Box" and Avery, his girlfriend, was reporting about it. She had this mad and annoyed face on.
"Now, you've probably heard the news. Jack Donaghy and his co-worker Elizabeth Lemon did hook up last night. We don't have full information but they were last seen last night actress Jenna Maroney's Christmas after party. For the Hot Box, Avery Jessup reporting."
She made her way off the cameras, but they were still filming and she still had her microphone on. You could hear her saying
"I'm gonna kill that Donaghy."
Jack just lay there, face blank.
"Yeah, well. I'm gonna get dressed. And go to work. You should probably do the same and tell the truth to Avery."
Liz and Jack got dressed and that afternoon, Jack told Avery the truth.
"Avery--"
"What do you want, Jack?"
"I want to tell you the truth."
"That...?"
"That I don't care what you think of me and Lemon."
"So...you do like her?"
"I don't know. But I do know that I can't stand someone who can't trust me."
"You're wanting to break up with me?"
"For this reason, I am."
Jack left her office and Avery tried to catch up to him, but before she could, it was too late. His arm was around Liz's shoulder and he seemed happier. And this time, Liz won.

Devoted. Tough. Respected.

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters, Alec's article and "mister of honor" from bride wars.
Spoilers: Nope.
Pairing: Jack/Liz, Avery/Carol, Liz/Carol
Summary: "Okay, this is what I choose."
(follow up to Smart. Funny. Beautiful.)

Half an hour later, Liz made her decision. It should be the right one, since Jack said to follow her heart. And she always trusted Jack. He was her only best friend, the one she could talk to at any time. They memorize each other, they have NO secrets. Even though they're from 2 different families and careers, it's like they meet in the middle. Liz slowly got up. She went to the fridge to eat a pizza.
With merely 10 minutes to go, Jack stood up on the bride's side and took his place as "Mister of Honor." Liz had always been devoted to her job, so Jack thought she was still in the room because she would be finishing up sketches. Liz had always been tough to her crew, so they could get the best show on NBC. And of course, Liz was always respected. Sometimes, not by her co-workers, but most of the time, Jack respected her. But there was always one thing about her that was an imperfection. Her posture. She wasn't welcoming people to "Castle Frankenstein." Jack laughed at the thought. He stopped laughing when he saw someone on the groom's side. The blond-haired newscaster with a tiny baby cradled in her arms. He quickly sent a text to Liz giving her a picture of what he had just seen. It didn't make sense. If Avery was at the groom's side, why was she there?
Ten minutes seemed to go by too quickly. Before you know it, Liz came out the door with not her dress, but her usual attire. She came up to Carol and said
"Hey."
"Liz, where's your dress?"
"Look, I, um, I'm not marrying you."
Carol stood there with a blank face.
"I know, Carol. Avery's the one you love and she's carrying your baby."
Liz took the ring off her finger.
"I don't deserve this, Carol. Give it to someone you really love. Thanks for the good time."
She placed one last kiss on his cheek. She went up to where the microphone was.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. There will not be a wedding today, nor tomorrow. Carol and I have decided to part ways. I'm sorry to the people who came from the other side of the country just to see this, but it's just not gonna work out. He loves someone else and I do too. Have a safe drive home."
After everyone left the church, Liz and Jack were the only ones left. Liz just sat on the stairs, having the same face she did just hours before. Jack sat with her.
"You wanna go home, Lemon?"
"Jack, can I ask you something?"
"Of course, Lemon. Anything."
"Do you think...if we kissed after Kathy told us to....that we would possibly work out?"
"I've had some thoughts about that. But sometimes, I did think that, yes."
"So...do you think it will work now?"
"Lemon, I have a question."
"Okay, what is it?"
"Who do you love?"
Liz slowly lifted her hand and pointed to Jack.
"Ah, I see."
"So, answer my question."
"Yes, it could possibly work out."
"You wanna go to Dunkin' Donuts to get some coffee and donuts?"
"Yeah. I'm really hungry."
Liz took Jack's arm and hugged it with her arm and she placed her head on his shoulders. Jack held her hand and Liz just smiled. Do what your heart tells you to, and it will get you to the right places.

It was the hour before Liz's wedding. Liz was all set up. She sat there, in the room, thinking if this was the right decision. She thought it was, since they've known each other for one year, which is a lot of time for two people to get to know each other.
Jack walked in the room, seeing Liz in the gorgeous white dress.
"Lemon. You look absolutely stunning."
"Thanks, Jack."
"Oh, uh, I got this for you."
Jack handed her a towel.
"What for?"
"Look at the imprint."
"SFB since 2006. What's that mean?"
"Smart, funny and beautiful since 2006. It's been on my mind ever since."
Liz's eyes started watering up.
"Jack, I--I don't know if I can do this."
"Liz. Carol's a lucky man. Any guy would marry you in a heartbeat."
"I know, I know. You've told me that since last week. But, I don't know if he's ready for commitment."
"Take a chance, Lemon. Take a risk. Step out of your safety zone."
Liz inhaled deeply.
"I don't know what to do."
"You have one hour to think, Lemon. I'll be on the bride's side. Choose what your heart wants."
"I'll see you, Jack."
Jack hugged her.
"See ya."

Wrong In A Good Way

Rating: PG-13ish...
Disclaimer: All of Tina's brain... Based on scenes from "It's Complicated." and some of my own scenes with my characters
Pairing: Jack/Liz, Jack/Avery, Kenneth/Jenna
Spoilers: Well, from "It's Complicated."
Summary: Jack and Liz, a divorced couple, have a one night stand.

"And when is...Aaron's graduation?" Jenna asked with Kenneth and their son Josh.
"Next week." Jack replied.
"It's in three days! We're all meeting with Bridgette and Isabelle, remember Jack?"
"Right, right."
"And...Isabelle's just going to college right?" Jenna asked.
"Yes, and Bridgette and her fiancé, Andrew, are going to the Big Apple with us. It's gonna be sort of like a reunion. Well, I suppose that's all the time I have. Bye, everyone."
Just before Liz turned to leave, Avery came walking towards Liz.
"Liz, is it?"
"Oh, are you Avery?"
"Yes I am. Pleasure to meet you, Liz."
"Well, uh, bye Lizzie. I'll see you at the Big Apple." Jack said.
"Yeah, see you."
Three days later, Liz was greeted by Bridgette, Isabelle, Aaron and Andrew when she got out of the taxi.
"Need help, boss?" Andrew asked Liz as she was carrying her luggage.
Liz shook her head.
At the reception desk, Liz was checking the rooms in.
"Donaghy."
"Ah, the superior suite, madam?"
"Oh, no. That must be the other Donaghy's. I'm Elizabeth Donaghy. And I need 4 rooms."
"Certainly, Ms. Donaghy."
"Just out of curiosity, have the other Donaghys checked in yet?"
"No, ma'am, they haven't."
When they finished the transaction, Liz gave her daughters and her son their room keys.
"Mom, me and some of my friends were thinking of a night out..." Aaron began to say.
"And what do you need this time?" Liz said, already giving him her credit card.
"Thanks, mom. I'm going with Bridge anyways."
"I guess I'll just have our family dinner with Izzy and Andy."
"Oh, actually Mom, me and Andy were gonna plan for the wedding."
"Okay, we'll just have the dinner tomorrow!"
When all of them left, Liz had nothing to do but just sit in her room. After almost 3 hours of doing absolutely nothing, she decided to go to the bar downstairs.
"Jack Daniels, straight up."
As she was drinking, she heard a familiar laugh. She turned to her right. And there was Jack Donaghy. No Avery. Slowly, Jack walked up to her and sat on the seat next to her.
"Where's Avery?"
"Abbie had the flu. She had to stay and take care of her."
"Would you like another drink, Mrs. Donaghy?" a waiter asked Liz.
"Yes, Mrs. Donaghy, would you?" Jack repeated.
After many, many, many drinks, Jack stared at Liz with those blue eyes that made Liz tremble even now.
"Do you want to dance?" he asked.
"Oh, I'm not a very good dancer."
"Just...come on."
"Oh, fine."

2 hours later, Jack lay on her bed, breathing heavily. Jack put his hand between Liz's legs and said
"Home, Sweet Home."
Liz got up and ran straight to the restroom. She puked in the toilet and Jack followed her.
"I like how you don't get bikini waxes anymore. Very native. But wow. The sex was mind-blowing. I thought we were gonna break the bed!"
"Oh, man. This is wrong."
"Wrong in the good way."
"Jack, shut up! You're married to someone else."
"But I was married to you first."
"Well, you do have a point, there, Jackie."
"You haven't called me Jackie in five years."
"My place on Wednesday?"
"It's a date, Lizzie."
Jack put his clothes on and got ready for Aaron's graduation. When he left, Liz just stood there, smiling.
"Why am I smiling?!"

Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: "For me?"

Liz was checking her voicemail when she saw that she had an unheard one from Jack. She quickly listened to it. After she heard it, she came in Jack's office. He wasn't there. She took a taxi to his house. She opened the door with her key. They're friends. Friends are supposed to have keys to each other's house, right? She saw Jack sleeping on the couch, with a medium-sized box in between his hands.
"Jack?"
"Lemon, what are you doing here?"
"I got your voicemail. All it said was 'Let's get--' and then it ended."
"It's Christmas, Lemon. You wanna get dinner?"
Liz pointed to the box.
"Is that for Avery?"
Jack chuckled.
"No, Lemon. It's for someone else."
"Who?"
"Just...someone."
"Soo...what's for breakfast?"
"There's pancakes in the freezer, omelets in the microwave and some noodles in the pantry."
"You always know when I'm going here, don't you?"
"I've learned to love the foods."
Liz started looking through the foods.
After she ate, Jack called Liz over to the couch. He held both her hands.
"What is it, Jack?"
"Lemon, you see that little present under the tree?"
"Yeah, what is it?"
"It's for you. Go get it."
She got the present and held it in her hands.
"What is it?"
"Here, I'll open it."
When Jack opened it, Liz saw that it was a small box that said "Tiffany" on it.
"Jack, what is this?"
Jack opened the box and in there was a ring.
"Liz, I--I don't know how to say this."
"Jack, you don't have to. I mean, why? You should marry Avery. Not me."
"But, Lemon--"
"No buts. You know I do, Jack. But it was one night. Nothing more."
"It was 5 years."
"Jack, I'm sorry."
"Just...keep the ring, Lemon. Think of it as a friendship ring."
"Well, then. Thanks, Jack. I really like this present."
Jack put the ring on Liz's right hand on her ring finger.
"Is it okay if I put it here?"
"Oh my gosh, Jack. Fine, yes! I will marry you!"
A big smile was on Jack's face.
"Thank you, Lemon. Thank you.".
Liz rolled her eyes.
"Anything for my friend."
"Ah, fiancé, you mean?"
"I'll just call you boyfriend. Good, right?"
"Childish, Lemon. But sure. Call me what you want, Lizzy."
"Fine, boyfriend. I'm going home."
"Stay here, Liz. You're my fiancé after all. We should be living together by now."
"That's later, Jack. But yes, I will sleep here. Tonight. ONLY."
Jack laughed.
"Oh, Lemon."

Similarities, Lemon out!

Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's brain, some characters mine.
Spoilers: I wish...
Pairing: Who else, really? Jack/Liz, Other/Other
Summary: "Someone just like you, Jack."

Jack woke up at 1 in the morning, seeing Liz wrapping little presents in the living room.
"Hey, what are you doing up?"
"Oh, hey Jack. Emma told me she had to get these for her class tomorrow morning."
Jack noticed a big package under the tree.
"What's that?"
"What's what?"
"The big present."
"Oh...it's just something I got you. No biggie. What's that small present under the tree?"
"Something I got you."
Emma woke up at the sound of her parents' voice.
"Hey, mom. Are you finished with the things yet?"
"I'm almost done, sweetie. Your dad's helping me out. Emma? Stop texting and look at me!"
Emma inhaled deeply.
"What, mom? Allison and me are planning this thing for Christmas!"
"You're texting your sister. Really?"
"Lizzie, it's her sister. Allison's in college and Emma only gets to see her during the holidays. Let this 6th grader talk to her."
"Whatever you say, Jack."
Emma hugged her dad tightly.
"Thanks, Dad! Oh, Allie said she's bringing...John."
"Who's John?" Liz and Jack both asked.
"I'm not supposed to tell you this, but...John is Allie's..."
"Allie's who, Emma?"
"Emma, talk to us, honey."
"John is Allie's fiancé. They've known each other for 7 months now."
"Fiancé? Call her now and tell her to come over here to New York City with John. Now."
While Emma was talking to Allison, Liz started laughing.
"Why are you laughing, Liz? Our daughter is about to get married to someone we haven't met."
"It's just funny. Allie dyed her hair blond, her fiancé's name is John, like someone I know and they've known each other for only 7 months. Anything ring a bell?"
"Oh, boy. We don't need to get Avery to come over here, do we?"
"No, she's out with Carol. She told me that last week when we went shopping."
"Let's just hope this John is good."
"Hey. Mom, Dad? Allie's gonna be here tomorrow."
"Tell her John stays at a hotel or a separate room."
Emma gave them a thumbs-up.
The next day, Jack and his family were at the airport waiting for Allie. When she came to where they were, Liz noticed something. She was a brunette again. A man was coming over their way too. He was wearing a tux. Liz looked at the time. It was after six.
"Looks like we got you a prodigy here, Jack."
"Dad! Mom! Emma! You're all here! I want you to meet someone."
"John Francis. Nice to meet you."
He shook both of their hands and Liz was just about to burst out laughing, while Jack was just...stunned.
"I'm Jack Donaghy. Nice to meet you."
"I'm Elizabeth Donaghy. Nice to meet you."
"It's a pleasure. Allie's been talking about you two all week long."
When they got home, Liz pulled Jack to their room. That's when she burst out laughing.
"Why are you laughing?"
"His name. How he looks. How he talks. How he acts. John Francis, wearing a tux after six, talks like he's always in a business meeting, has a mean side but a compassionate side."
"What are you trying to say?"
"Allie's gonna marry someone who's the same exact person as you."
"What, no! That's impossible."
"You know what they say, Jack. They have this saying for girls. You'll marry someone like your father."
"You married me because I was like your dad?"
"Well, you know me. I'm an exception. I was way out of your league. But you chose me. And I loved you ever since these 18 years."
"And you know I have too. Look at her. She's 21 now. Beautiful. You're right, Liz. I'm gonna go over there with my head high and get to know him."
Jack got out of the room and headed for John. He shook his hand and said "Welcome, son."

Missing You.

Missing you.
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Tina's characters!!
Spoilers: "Christmas Attack Zone"
Pairing: Jack/Liz, Jack/Avery, little bit of Colleen/Milton
Summary: "I miss you, Lemon."

When she closed the door after saying a silent "Merry Christmas" to Jack, she  started crying as she went down the elevator. Avery was already in her third trimester. There was no way of telling Jack now. Why couldn't she be the one having his child? Marrying Jack?
When Avery finally left the hospital and Milton left to go back to his hotel and when Colleen was sleeping, he sat in a dark corner of the hospital room. Wine in his hands from the dinner earlier, he took a big sip and inhaled deeply. Avery was 7 months. Seven months ago, he didn't even know her, and now they're going to have a child and get married too? This was happening all so fast. He better call Lemon. No, she's with family. He decided to stand up and talk to his mother as she was asleep.
"Mother, I hope I make the right decision."
Suddenly, Colleen's handbag started ringing. It was the cellphone Liz gave her. He missed the call, but inside her bag was only one other thing. A picture of him, Liz and Colleen. He knew that day. It was the day Colleen first met Liz. She mistakenly took her for Phoebe. She was always nice to her, like she was her own. They each made three copies. One for her, one for Liz and one for him. On the back of Colleen's picture, it said one word. "Family." That didn't look at all like Colleen's handwriting and before he could think anymore, Colleen woke up.
"Jack, is that you?"
"Y-y-yes, Mother, I'm here." Jack said trying to sound like he's not crying.
"Can I...tell you something?"
"What is it, Mother?"
"Liz. I know. I know you're more happy with her. You may deny it, but your life would be corrupted without her. She's the one you should be marrying. She's your best friend. Margret married her best friend. And they've been married for 45 years. Think about that, Jack."
"Well, Mother--"
"Call her. Tell her how much you love her. I know you do."
Jack took a deep breath.
"Let me call Avery first."
When Liz reached Whitehaven, she was still full of tears. She went to her parents' house and greeted them "Hi."
"Liz, what's wrong?" her mother said.
"It's nothing."
"No, Liz. Tell me."
"I'm a grown woman."
"But you're still my daughter."
"Okay, can we go in my room? Aunt Linda's just...disturbing to look at."
"Agreed. Come on, honey."
When they got to the room, Liz sat on her old bed and started crying.
"It's Jack, mom."
"oh, my. What did he do?"
"He doesn't get it. He impregnated someone he just knew seven months ago and now she's seven months pregnant. It's not right. I should be the one pregnant. I should be the one having to buy all these baby stuff."
"Liz. Jack called by earlier. He said he broke up with the woman. Call him."
Liz dialed "2" on her phone, since "1" was her voicemail.
"Hello?"
"Jack?"
"Liz."
"I, uh..."
"I miss you, Liz. Come back to New York. I broke up with Avery. I saw the picture of us and Colleen and it made me realize something."
"Jack, it's not that easy."
"Yes it is, Lemon. I've known you for five years, the longest nonsexual relationship I've ever had with a woman."
"What are you trying to say, Jack?"
"Come home, Lemon. I miss you."
Suddenly, you could hear sniffling from Jack's end of the line.
"Jack, are you crying?"
"Liz, please. I'm lonely without you. Please. Come back to New York."
"I'm coming right over. I'll see you."
"I love you."
Liz hung up after he said that. She took the quickest flight to New York and got to the hospital at about 6 am. Jack greeted her in the front with a big hug.
Today was the day. He could see it in her eyes. And she could see it in his. Eyes both gleaming at each other. And Jack leaned in and kissed Liz softly.
"I love you too, Jack."

Merry Christmas...To You.

Disclaimer: Tina's characters, not mine!! Just writing for the sake of readers :)
Spoilers: Season 3 Christmas episode
Pairing: Jack/Liz forever
Summary: Merry Christmas, Lemon.

Liz smiled as she saw Jack and Colleen singing a Christmas carol.
"Merry Christmas..." Colleen sung
"Merry Christmas..." Jack repeated while he played the piano.
"To you..."
At last, Jack was happy with his mother. He wasn't fussing or fighting, because it was almost Christmas. Colleen whispered something to Jack's ear and Jack stood up with Colleen giving him a thumbs-up and saying "Go give her what you want Jackie-kins!"
Jack made his way through the cameras and the sets toward Liz.
"You seem pretty happy today, Jack."
"Well, um, it's Christmas and I want my mother to be happy."
Liz looked over Jack's shoulder, seeing Colleen waving and smiling. Liz mouthed a silent "Hi" to her.
"Well you made her very happy indeed."
"Liz?"
"Yeah?"
"Look up."
Oh crud. Above her head was, in fact, a mistletoe.
"Mistletoe."
"Do you... I mean it's fine if you don't."
"Jack. It's Christmas. And I don't want you to feel rejected."
"Rejected? I've never been rejected. You know how many woman would--"
"Okay, Jacky boy, let's not take things too seriously. It was a joke."
"So, you do want to kiss me?"
"I love it when you act dumb."
"You love it?"
"Oh, just kiss already!!!" Colleen shouted.
"Well, here's to...life."
Jack kissed Liz romantically like in one of those Disney movies.
"Um, wow. So, uh, is your mom happy now?"
"Very much so. Merry Christmas, Lemon."
"Merry Christmas, Jack."
Colleen sat there, smiling the biggest smile ever.

Just Wait and See

Rating: PG/PG13ish
Disclaimer: Characters are all of Tina's and Allie is just my character.
Spoilers: Hopefully
Pairing: Jack/Liz
Summary: "I do."
A/N: Liz's birthday was on Oct. 14th, on the live show!

"These heels are killing me!" Liz said as she put on her dress.
"Don't worry, in a few hours you'll be alone with him, without your heels or anything on."
"Ew, Jenna, that's sick."
"We all know it was eventually gonna happen. I mean, here you are, with your big white dress and Jack just waiting at the rooftop of the Plaza."
"I'm marrying Jack. Jack Donaghy."
Liz smiled at the thought. It was October 14th. Her birthday. A year ago, Jack proposed to her, on the very spot they were about to get married in. Allison was gonna be the flower girl. Allison was Jack and Liz's daughter, and 2 years after she was born, Jack finally proposed to her. She was 38. Waaaay late to get married. But so was Jack.
"Love has no boundaries, right?" Liz asked Jenna.
"Of course not! Unless it was Jeter and he tried to play football while he was under you."
Liz gave Jenna a disgusted look.
"I mean, I'm not too old to get married, right?"
"Like I said Liz, marriage is like death."
"Just...go get Allie, okay? I wanna see her before she gets outside the door."
"Allie! Your mom's calling for you."
In a mad dash, Allie ran to her mom and hugged her.
"You look really pretty, Mommy."
"Aw, thanks sweetheart. I'm sure your Daddy and I think you are too."
"Where is Daddy?" Allison asked with her blue eyes just like her dad's, but her personality exactly like Liz's.
"Daddy's on the roof, waiting for me. You wanna go with Auntie Jenna and put the flowers on the floor?"
"Anything for my Mommy and Daddy. They are all dressed up and I like it, right Auntie Jenna?"
"That's right, little one! Now, race you to the elevator?"
"Hey, don't go running too fast, okay Allie?"
Allison said the word that made Liz smile.
"Blerg."
Now, how did she know about that, she asked herself. She had about 10 minutes to go.
On the rooftop though, Jack was smiling at the sight of her daughter walking down the aisle setting flowers on the floor. He thought about 18 years later, when he's 71, when he will be walking down the aisle with her, guiding her to her new life with this man. But that will be in the future. Instead, he just watches little Allison stumble but smile while she walks. She was wearing little baby heels and she walked just like Liz when she was in heels.
10 minutes later, Liz walks down the aisle with her father. When she got to the front, Jack and Liz traded smiles. He was about to kiss her when Liz said "Hey, no kissing the bride until the end."
When the priest was at the end, he was talking slower.
"Do you, Jack Donaghy, take this woman, to be your lawful, wedded wife?"
"I do."
He started to lean down and kiss Liz, but Liz jabbed him in the arm, telling him to listen.
"And do you, Elizabeth Lemon, take this man, to be your lawful, wedded husband."
"I do."
"And now, by the power vested in thee, I know pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Jack just stood there.
"Oh, just kiss me, you nerd."
Jack smiled and gave her a passionate kiss. People started applauding, but the loudest clappers were Colleen and Kenneth.
During the ceremony, Colleen stood up.
"I would like to say something for the couple."
"Oh, no." Jack whispers.
"Don't worry, honey, it's gonna be fine. Colleen likes me, remember?" Liz whispered back.
"This couple is...just lovely to look at. I'm so relieved that my Jacky boy has chosen the right girl. Lizzie, welcome to the family."
Liz smiled and mouthed a silent
"Thank you" to her mother-in-law.
People started clinking their wine glasses and Jack and Liz kissed once more. The room was full of "Awws" and Allie walked to their table and sat on Liz's lap. Jack noticed she had something in her hair.
"Allie, honey. You have lettuce stuck in your hair."
"I do? Where?"
"Right there."
Liz takes the piece of lettuce off her hair.
"You two are really beautiful today, Daddy."
"Oh, I'm beautiful now?" Jack says.
"Nooo!!! Mommy is beautiful and you are handsome."
"There you go, sweetie. Now, why don't you go with Grandma for a second? Me and your mommy have something to talk about."
"Which grandma? Nana, or Mama?"
Nana, as to which Allie called her, was Margret, Liz's mother. And Mama, as she forced Allie to call her, was Colleen.
"Either one is fine, hon."
"Okay, bye!"
When she finally left the table, Liz and Jack were finally down to business.
"You know what Allie said earlier?"
"What?"
"She said blerg, honey!"
"Blerg? Like what you say?"
"Yeah! And I never said it in front of her."
"She must have collected your words when she was in your stomach."
"Ha! Good one, Donaghy!"
This was the best night of their lives. Sure it may not be the future they had planned, but meeting each other on that morning was not a mistake, but serendipitous.
"You love me, right?"
"Don't be ridiculous, Liz. You know you're the only woman I've ever really loved."
Liz rolled her eyes and said
"Let's go to your private jet and take the trip to France. This dress is itchy!!"
"You won't feel anything but me in a matter of hours."
"And you..won't feel anything if you keep up this dirty talk."
"Bossypants, huh? Like the sound of that. Maybe you could teach me something new today."
"You can't teach an old dog new tricks."
"But what if you can teach a new dog old tricks?"
"Is that me you're talking about? What are we learning?"
"Just wait and see, Lemon."

What's Best For Everybody

Rating:PG/PG-13ish
Disclaimer: All characters are of Tina's brain.
Spoilers: None
Pairing: Jack/Liz mention of Jack/Avery, mention of Carol/Liz
Summary: Jack calls Liz to his office to talk about Avery, but it leads to something else...

Liz walked into Jack's office.
"You wanted to see me?"
"Sit down, Lemon."
"So, what's up?"
"Lemon, I think I'm not going to marry Avery anymore."
Liz's face was blank. For the first time in  her friendship with Jack, she actually liked this idea, but of course she couldn't tell Jack that. She knew he loved Avery and called her his "future wife" every single day Liz and him could talk.
"Why?" is all she could say.
"Have you seen her lately? For someone who's 6 months pregnant, she's not showing at all. And she told me she wanted to get married in a French speaking country. French, Lemon. She actually thinks she can speak better French than me."
Jack started talking gibberish which Liz figured is French to him so she applauded sarcastically.
"And you know what else, Lemon? My sex life with her is repulsive. It's not for pleasure anymore. It's like a schedule, so the baby can be delivered properly. She's not the Avery I knew. She's this--"
"Psycho control freak? Like Bianca?"
"You're not saying that I could have possibly be marrying--"
Liz cuts him off again.
"Yes, you could've possibly married another Bianca. And I'm glad you talked to me first, Jack. Because guess what I found out."
Liz held up a paper.
"I asked the doctor. She took a blood sample from her. And guess who it was?"
"Lemon, I don't have time for guessing games. Just tell me."
"Carol."
Jack's eyes widened. Liz nodded and gave a doubtful smile.
"But aren't you two still together?"
"No. Carol and I broke up about two weeks ago. I didn't want to tell you because you were too busy with Avery and the wedding and the--"
Jack interrupted Liz by kissing her. Softly, gently, because he knew Liz would be surprised. After he let go, Liz had a shy smile.
"What was that for, Jack?"
"Er, um, it was a friend kiss."
"A French kiss?"
"FRIEND. F-R-I-E-N-D."
"Okay, I know how to spell."
Liz looked at him with her judgmental badger face.
"You know I love badgers," Jack said with that raspy voice of his. He had a dirty grin on his face.
"Please tell me you're not gonna tape this for the sake of your mother."
"Lemon, I have no intention of recording anything right now except what memory I'll plant into your head."
"Whoa, Jacky, let's not go too fast here, buddy."
"What are you talking about, Lizzy?"
Jack continued to move closer to her as she continued to back away sone more until she was at the edge of the loveseat.
"Oh, what the heck."
------
"Oh my god. That was...wow."
"Couldn't have said it any better, Lizzie."
"Will you stop calling me that?"
"Would you like me to call you Lemon?"
"No. Lizzie is fine. I don't like you calling me Lemon when you're, you know, under me."
"You don't taste like Lemon at all. You taste like cinnamon. Cinnamon that's been--"
"Okay, Jack. I get it."
In the muffled distance, someone was knocking.
"Jack?"
"Oh, God. Liz, it's Avery. Hide. Get your clothes. Take a shower. GO!!!"
Liz took her clothes and ran into Jack's restroom."
Jack quickly got dressed and opened the door.
"Hi, Avery."
"Jack, your hair and your tie."
Jack's hair was a mess and his tie was not tied.
"I fell asleep, Avery."
Avery rolled her eyes.
"Whatever, I gotta pee. This baby's kicking my stomach off."
Jack ran to Avery but it was too late. She closed the door.
----
When Avery was at the restroom, she heard the shower running. And someone singing. She flushed the toilet. A scream was heard. Jack came in the restroom and Avery was mad. She slid the shower door and saw Liz in her towel.
"You cheated on me?! With her?"
She tried to run but Avery stopped her. She was standing beside Jack, with her hair dripping wet.
"I cannot believe you, Jack Donaghy. After 6 months. I knew something was going on with you two on Valentine's Day. She's a whore, Jack. Why her?"
"Whoa, Avery. Liz Lemon is not a whore. Look who's talking. Liz Lemon is wonderful. She's gorgeous. In her own ways. You may not see that, but I do. And if you're just gonna be like this, then I can't do this. And I know that baby isn't mine. It's Carol's. So, have a swell life!"
Avery took the ring off her finger.
"Okay, fine then! It's over! I'm gonna take this stupid ring that only cost 500 grand and throw it away! But you won't care, because you'll be with your bitch!"
Liz couldn't take it anymore. She pushed her all the way to the outside of his office and said "He's mine now. And will always will be." and closed the door on her.
Liz sat on Jack's couch and started to cry. Jack sat beside her, patting her back.
"Lemon, why are you crying?"
"The ring. We paid for that."
"You paid a dollar, Lemon."
"Yeah, but the only reason I gave in is because I loved that ring. And now it's gone."
"Liz, Liz, Liz. There's plenty of gorgeous rings out there but whatever ring you like, it'll look beautiful because you are beautiful."
Liz looked up.
"Really? You mean that?"
"Yes. I do."
Liz laughed and started drying her hair. She didn't have any other clothes and her clothes were covered in food stains so she got one of Jack's dress shirts and got her pair of old jeans that somehow made it in Jack's office. She put them in the drier and when she took them out, it was skinny. She wore it anyway and Jack's eyes widened.
"Is it too...?"
"No, Lemon. That's what you should wear for work. It's highly arousing."
"Come here, you."
They started kissing until Jenna walks in the office. Liz's shirt was halfway unbuttoned and Jack's also.
"Hey Jack, do you happen to know where Liz is...oh."
"Oh, um, Jenna, Liz was just about to leave."
"No, no. Continue with...yeah."
Jenna ran straight out of the room and got to Jonathan's desk and called the writer's table and she said "Put this on speaker." and when they did that she yelled "Jack and Liz are doing it!" Even with her phone not on speaker, you could hear screams and clapping from the writers.
Liz rolled her eyes and said
"Oh, brother."

Like it Like This

Rating: PG/PG-13ish Disclaimer: Characters are not mine! They are property of Tina Fey's mind!!! And a snippet from "it's Complicated" Spoilers: None Pairing: Jack/Liz, mention of Jack/Avery, mention of Liz/Carol, Avery/Carol Summary: A future fic, maybe? ---------------------------------------------------- "Lizzie?" "What?" Liz's hand locks on his hand. They were dancing to a slow song, which she hated, but since she was drunk she needed to calm her nerves. There was no one else in the room except on the other side, where Avery and Carol were, sitting and talking. "Your hands are holding mine. Your body's a centimeter away from me." "Oh, jeez. Sorry, Jack." "No, no. It's fine. It's winter anyway, so let's stay warm." "And that's not a euphemism for sex, right?" "Of course not, Lemon. Just think of this as a hug." "Whatever you say, Jackie. Boy, this song sure is going slow." "Lemon, look. I think Avery and Carol are hitting it off." "Yeah. I know. They seem cute together." It's been 3 months ever since Jack broke up with Avery and Liz broke up with Carol. They couldn't take it. Carol was just the perfect man for Liz, like a second copy. And that was the issue with Jack and Avery too. They both wanted to have conflicts in their life, differences, but not like fighting all the time, but like differences in likes of food, television shows and especially politics. "I assume they're talking about us." "Yeah. I've seen them give us looks." ----- "Avery?" "What, Carol?" "Look at them. Jack and Liz." "So, what about them?" "They're...perfect. I mean, look at how her head fits perfectly on his shoulders. Like his shoulders were built for Liz's head only. And they've been hugging for 10 minutes and dancing. When I dated her, my shoulders were too straight and weak to hold her heavy head and she wouldn't let me hug her for more than 2 minutes." "Look, Carol. I don't give a crap about Jack and Liz right now. It's already bad enough we have Abbie to raise." Abbie was Carol and Avery's daughter, which Avery thought was Jack's. Abbie was 1 month old, crying like crazy every night and Carol had to get up, while Avery put ear muffs to mute out the sound. But it was okay. Carol liked taking care of Abbie. Her cries were always at the time he had to wake up for his flight. Before he left, he gave Abbie to Liz to take care of. Liz and Jack became the 2nd pair of parents of Abbie. Basically, they were available each and every day. They treated Abbie like their own daughter and sometimes Avery even let her stay there for 2 days. "I'm just sayin'. Being with Liz got her with Jack. You being with Jack got him with Liz. It was a lifestyle. Now, you wanna dance?" Avery was already drunk. "Sure." When they got to the dance floor, they couldn't find Jack or Liz. They looked at a dim-lighted corner where they saw the two of them making out. But it seemed both of them wanted more. Jack was kissing the sides of Liz's neck and he kissed her collarbone. He was so glad she was wearing a dress. But before he kissed any lower, Liz stopped him. It seemed like she was saying that they could go home and continue. He whispered something in her ear. In the distance, Avery knew that grin and that whisper of his was sexy talk. He was talking about all the ways he was gonna do it to her. Liz jabbed him in the arm playfully and ran to the limo as fast as she could. "Come on, slowpoke!" Liz said (more like screamed.) -------- In the middle of great, hot sex, the phone rang. "Don't get it, Lemon." "I have to get it. I have a show to run." Liz answered the phone. "Hi, Jenna. Are you still on the phone?" Jack kissed her. "I mean the plane! Are you still on the plane? No, I have no idea where he is! Okay, bye." "Now, where were we?" And before Liz could say anything, Abbie started crying. Both sighed, put their clothes on, and put Abbie back to bed. After they got her to bed, they sat on the couch, watching TV. This was nice, Jack thought. Never in a million years that Liz Lemon thought they would end up like THIS. Sitting on a couch together, watching TV, having a family (Abbie), and being happy. Would she like this life? Would she adopt Abbie? Both don't know yet. But they like it like this. END
